As an American citizen you have the right to speak out. We do not live in China nor in a Banana Republic, though sometimes I think we do. The detective involved in your assault case where you were seriously injured to the point of possibly going blind, failed to properly follow elementary detective procedure. If he had done his job, as well as others in the department, we would not be having this discussion, and your due process of law would not have been compromised. You are not the enemy. The enemy is within, as I wrote in my autobiography "True Blue: A Tale of The Enemy Within"
